Mason Ornelas is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends L.D. Bell HS. Medium build with very good present strength, pretty mature physically. Loads onto his back side well in his delivery and uses his lower half well, quick arm, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, gets to both sides well and throws lots of quality strikes with his fastball, gets nice sinking action at times. Tends to slow his arm a bit on his change up but has good feel for it. Curveball still developing and may be a slider guy in the future. Fills up the zone and fields his position well
