Jacob Hefner is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends St. Francis. Strong build with plenty of room to get stronger. Multi-piece delivery with a slow and deliberate pace, high 3/4's arm slot, will loose his front side at times and fall off to the first base side at release. Fastball ball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Change up is a nice pitch with good arm speed and some fade, can throw his change up more often. Got over his curveball well with some 11/5 depth. Throws strikes with all three pitches and has the ability to mix. 8.02 runner in the sixty, plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, starts with a big back shift load, has a short hands driven swing with a mid field line drive approach, has the strength to develop more power with some separation and extension through contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
