Devun Pontrelli is a 2019 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Woodridge, IL who attends Downers Grove North HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary shortstop with quick feet while moving to and working through the baseball. Sure handed actions while funneling with deliberate glove to hand exchanges. Produced very accurate carry across the infield topping at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Coils top half slightly at load and works to contact with rotational actions. Direct path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Consistently repeated path and plane well while employing a mid field approach. Very good student as well.
