AJ Miera is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Roanoke, TX who attends Faith Christian. Recorded a 7.66 second 60 yard dash time. Young build, long and projectable frame. Primary shortstop that fields out in front, taller release and quick arm with carry across. Ball comes out cleanly, can drop slot. Developing footwork, will improve as he works through the ball, clean round overall. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a side step into a leg lift and comes from an over the top slot. Shows a two pitch mix, curveball has 12-6 shape and good bite. All arm and mainly fastballs, definitely some pitch-ability with a lot to like for the future. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and high hand and back elbow set. Small weight shift and stride, good bat path that extends through contact. Hands work well and is able to adjust, solid foundation to build on with hit and power potential. Great student.
