2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Tyler Kenast is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. Primary first baseman on defense, moves very well for the position, comes to the ball well, makes accurate throws with good arm strength, still developing his skills picking throws. Also played the outfield and has the athleticism to handle that position. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a busy high and circular hand load, has loose hands and got them into position well in the games, has good feel for the barrel and is comfortable working inside the ball and using the whole field, flashed the ability to turn the barrel and projects some power. Also pitched and has some arm potential on the mound. Big back turn delivery with an extended mid 3/4's arm slot, easy flowing delivery. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with nice running action, gets good tilt to his slider and locates the slider well to both sides of the plate, also showed a firm change up. Good overall athlete who is going to keep improving in all areas as he gets stronger. Good student.
