Connor Carson is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends The Brook Hill. Recorded a 6.95 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with an athletic build and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with good hands and footwork. Projects well with good range to either side and arm strength recorded up to 85 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short rocker into a leg lift at the belt. Drop and drive lower half actions with a high three-quarters arm slot. Throws around his front side with a very deceptive fastball. Sinks the fastball and showed a firm slider. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and good present bat speed. Leverages the ball nicely with some torque created through his hips to drive the ball. Worked to the pull side regularly and performed in game with hard hit balls to both gaps. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South TP List.
