Jalen Bryant is a 2021 SS/OF with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Union, NJ who attends Union. Medium and lean frame with square shoulders. Ran a 6.87 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the baseball out in front while working through it well, took infield drills with playable hands and online pure release, takes a full arm action into throws with projectable arm strength. Secondary outfielder, comes through the baseball well with a quick transfer and release, creates some uphill carry to the baseball, showed similar arm strength as in the infield, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, showed some quickness to his hands that start in a wrapped position, works the baseball to the pull side with some strength, will continue to improve pop with additional weight shifted into contact.
