Andy Watters is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Marietta. Smaller, athletic, compact build. At the plate he starts in balance, slightly closed stance. Shows a short, twitchy, uphill swing with a heavy pull approach. Has some strength in the hands. Power over hit currently. Defensively Watters showed athleticism in the outfield and at first base. Uses proper foot/glove technique and mechanics at both positions, fields the ball cleanly and was accurate to the bag for the most part. Had noticeable zip and carry balls to the bag and across the diamond. On the mound Watters starts on the third base side of the rubber using a tight sidestep and rotation up to balance and uses a quick abbreviated leg lift to load and transition. Deep stabbing arm path slightly offline. Really works hard to accelerate but the arm drags a bit. Has a head whack, not looking at plate when at release point. High ¾ to over the top angle with some deception. Clocked a 7.1 60-yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
