2017 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Max McLoughlin is a 2019 3B/C, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Larchmont, NY who attends Mamaroneck. Large frame with lithe, athletic build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.80 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, open stance with high back elbow, wraps hands back into load, knob stays close to midsection through swing, line drive swing plane with ability to cover the plate and work to all fields. Worked out in the infield, showed some athleticism to both sides, fields cleanly, big windup and several extra steps into throwing mechanics, arm strength clocked up to 81 mph. Very good student.
