Luis Suarez is a 2024 2B/SS, MIF, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends St. Brendan. Medium, lean build with room for added strength in the future. Ran the sixty in 6.84 seconds. A primary 2B, he showed soft hands when fielding to both sides of his body and he had quality body control. His top throw across the diamond was clocked at 79 MPH. At the plate he hits out of a crouched, slightly open stance with a high back elbow setup. He utilizes an all-fields approach and showed a flat path through the zone. On the mound his fastball topped out at 76 MPH and showed sinking action. He also broke off multiple two-plane curveballs that flashed tightness and bite. Good student in the classroom too.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
