Peyton Nelson is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Clinton. Medium frame with athletic, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.98 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow, separates well, gets foot down on time out of trigger, quality bat speed with intent, can impact the ball consistently, showed well in game with hard barrels pull-middle. Worked out in the infield, moves well laterally with good feet and hips, hands work out front, quick transfer with real arm strength, clocked up to 88 mph with carry and accuracy. Named to 2020 National Underclass South Top Prospect List, good student.
