Christian Soto is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. Medium frame with some strength to the build at present. Ran a 7.39 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves around the dirt well with sound actions, fields with two hands out front and releases on time from a shorter arm action while showing arm strength clocked up to 87 mph across. Similar actions at first base, gets rid of quickly with clean turns into his throws. Also pitched, good tempo to how he works, releases from a short arm stroke and low three-quarters slot, gets some sink to the fastball when working to the arm side and was able to induce ground ball contact. Righthanded hitter, very relaxed setup, works with some length on an uphill path, shows good strength in the hands which allows him to impact the ball well when squared and extends hard through the baseball. Great student. Verbal commitment to FIU. Named to 2021 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
