Jose Perez is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-10 146 lb. frame from Miami Gardens, FL who attends Hialeah Gardens Senior. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.09 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, simple delivery with a compact arm action, lands on line and maintains a good line to the plate with his release. Sequenced all three of his pitches well, fastball comes out well up to 83 mph, showed real feel for a quality changeup with replicated arm speed and good fade while landing the breaking ball with some depth out of 12-to-6 shape. Righthanded hitter, has some length to the swing but whips it through the zone well, good control of the barrel and showed some carry off impact the other way.
