Antonio Alvarez is a 2023 UTL with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Medium frame with an already filling out build showing a strong lower half. Ran a 7.39 second sixty yard dash. Primary Infielder, showing some lateral range as he bounced around. Confident with the glove as he scooped it up and worked into a quick exchange. Arm showing carry across the diamond as he was accurate while throwing it 81 mph during drills. Secondary Outfielder, aggressive routes to the baseball as he should urgency. Scooped and carried weight well through the baseball and into release. Kept throws down and was accurate around the bag. Right-Handed Hitter, starting wider in the stance while in line. Small stride with a bit of a hip shift before working into a linear swing path. Hand speed present as he drove the baseball gap to gap with some pop. Good Student.
