Davion Hickson is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Extra large frame with long limbs, a high waist, and lots of room to fill out. Methodical delivery with a side step into a leg lift at the belt with good pacing. Higher slot with a compact and clean arm action. Comes through the arm circle well with good quickness. Fastball topped out at 93 mph with flashes of good life. Pitches off the fastball and mixes in secondary pitches well. Short breaking, tight slider and good fade to the changeup. Three legitimate pitches at times for strikes with very good ceiling and upside. Great student. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
