Austin Duffy is a 2025 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Seminole, FL who attends Seminole. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays under control and shows sound actions on the approach, , works to a higher slot on throws, one hop accuracy with strength and carry, ball comes out of hand cleanly and works through the ball well. Medium length arm stroke in the infield, athleticism plays in actions, fields it low but gets tall into release, will continue to refine overall actions. Also pitched, leg lift up above the belt at start of delivery, lands on line coming down the mound, longer arm action through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, some effort at release, mostly true through the zone but shows nice present arm speed. Curveball shows 11-5 shape with late break, gets horizontal at times with depth, did a nice job of missing bats when in the zone. Left-handed hitter, begins with a square stance at the plate, rhythm in hands with pre-pitch movements. Loose and quick stroke through the zone, whip in the hands and gets the barrel head out front, best contact when extended, nice tools to continue to build upon moving forward. Excellent student. Named to the Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
