Alexander Johnson is a 2022 RHP/UT with a 6-3 192 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Roswell. Large frame with good projection remaining in the build. Ran a 6.93 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows good comfort and athleticism on the mound; works balanced through the delivery, drives down the mound well, shows good arm speed generating some sinking life to the fastball and mixed a pair of solid secondaries. Slider shows sharpness with great late bite and good depth to it; changeup was effective off the fastball down in the zone. Also worked out in the infield, plays off to the side of the ball a bit but showed excellent arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, works very level through the zone but showed great strength and bat speed, occasionally late but can produce to the middle of the field. Named to 2021 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
