Caden Christianson is a 2027 RHP/UT with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Greenwood Village, CO who attends Valor Christian. A bigger frame and build with strength and athleticism showing. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who sidesteps into a leg lift up above the belt, using a placement step with his right foot to get set up on the mound before moving downhill. Showed a longer arm stroke. He's long through the back and creates some whip to the arm through release. He whips through a three-quarters arm slot. He showed the fastball in the 82-84 mph range with tons of arm-side life, carrying the pitch well. It had some angle from the three-quarters slot. Heavy fastball attack early before mixing in some 11/5 shaped curveballs that he used to keep the opposition guessing. Threw 3.0 innings of one-hit ball with 4 strikeouts to his credit on the mound. He's a right-handed hitter with good size, setting up with higher-set hands and a high back elbow in the stance. He showed off an easy swing during BP. Narrow base to start with a small stride to stay on time. Worked inward with the hands to get the barrel on it. Also worked out in the outfield with two-handed fielding. He had methodical footwork with a gradual build-up on his approach and funnel into the throws. Showed a longer arm action with throws at 79 mph from the outfielder. Throws worked uphill out of the hand. Great student.
