2021 Jr. National Showcase
Patric Menk is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Combine Academy. Athletic frame with a high waist, long limbs, and lots of room to add strength. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched at the event. Loose, easy delivery with fluidity. High leg lift and some deception with a loose arm and a three-quarters arm slot. Very low effort operation and creates good angle to the glove side of the plate. Fastball topped out at 87 mph and sat in the 83-85 mph range. Liked to leverage low and keep the fastball at knee level. Curveball showed good sweeping action that worked well off the back foot of right-handed hitters. Changeup showed good fading life when turned over. Does it easy and showed the ability to sequence nicely. Projects well. Tremendous student.
