Jay O'Neal is a 2025 RHP/C with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Cedartown, GA who attends Cedartown. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.22 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, above-average arm speed with above-average spin on the fastball, worked 85-89 mph with good life up in the zone, showed slider with tilt, flashed good feel for changeup, kills spin well on pitch and will elicit whiffs. Took infield reps during workouts, soft hands out front, clocked up to 87 mph on throws across. Short stroke at the plate with strength-driven approach, stays committed to the middle of the field, has some impact into the gaps. Very good student, committed to Georgia Tech. Named to 2022 Main Event Top Prospect List.
