2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Aaron Bock is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B, OF, UT with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Sandy Spirngs, GA who attends The Weber School. Large frame sporting broad shoulders and plenty of fast twitch muscle throughout. Ran a 6.85 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, bouncing around as he proved to be athletic in his actions. Clean gather out front showing some feel for the leather. Works into a quick transfer and release. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 82 mph during drills. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure to take an efficient route to the baseball. Clean scoop to the side as he works into release. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 89 mph with carry. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow with feet almost touching each other. Longer stride as the hands stay high. Bat speed present as he works into a quick liner stroke. Found the barrel and proved he could drive it to the pull-side for power as he left the yard during batting practice. Projects more power down the road as the frame fills out. Great Student. Named to WWBA Workout Top Prospect List.
