Tyler Glowacki is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-9 178 lb. frame from Lakeside, CA who attends Santana. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Primary outfielder with smooth, sound footwork while moving in to the baseball. Clean actions while funneling and working through exchange. Quick arm stroke at released topping at 81 miles per hour. Throws generated accurate, on line carry to the bag. Also worked out defensively from first base, centers the baseball well and funnels from a slightly deeper position. Flashed soft hands with clean, fluid exchanged. Moves well while coming of the bag and ranging to each side. Created accurate carry across the infield topping at 77 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Creates some shift into contact with linear lower half actions. Hands work on an inside path to contact and created a smooth, naturally lifted plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field but also showed the barrel control to work the other way as well. Also pitched utilizing a side rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall and balanced on back side at gather. Creates slight front side swing while working to the plate and lands at a slightly closed position. High take back and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed some downhill angle through the zone with good life to arm side in the upper 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Breaking ball flashed tight spin with sweeping shape to glove side in the upper 60's. Looked to attack hitter and change speeds late in counts. Filled the zone with both pitches and flashed developing feel to the edges of the plate. Excellent student.
