Colby Frieda is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from St. Johns, FL who attends Creekside. Tall young pitcher's build with plenty of room to get stronger. Deep arm action in back, shows the ball to the hitter with his length, loose arm action with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was consistent in the upper 80's, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Landed a slurve type curveball well for strikes, has feel for the pitch. Three-pitch starter type who also threw his change up for strikes and competed well. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State.
