George Cordero is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Redlands, CA who attends Redlands East Valley. Developing slender build that stands to drastically improve as he progresses. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays balanced throughout his motion and has good direction down the hill. Gets a slight turn closed at the top of his motion. Fastball is up to 78 mph and he mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball with some depth. Shows an ability to manipulate the shape of the breaking ball. From the outfield, shows aggressiveness to the baseball and approaches the ball well. Glove is soft and he works low to and through the ball. At the plate, uses a slightly crouched and conventional looking stance with a toe tap trigger. Throws his hands at the ball, developing comprehension of his timing and rhythm with the pitcher. Line drive barrel plane through the zone.
