Leon Paulino is a 2019 OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Hollywood, FL who attends ESB Academy. Very athletic build with lots of present strength. 6.94 runner, has outstanding raw arm strength from the outfield, lots of effort in his release but made very accurate throws with low on line carry. Switch hitter, has bat speed and some serious lift from the left side, gets the ball in the air, hits from underneath and is hitting from under the ball, ball comes off hard. Has bat speed from the right side although not quite as much, big hand drop load with a similar lift and pull approach, less natural flow from the right side but he can develop with plenty more repetitions. Very tooled up player whose key will be getting to his power frequently enough. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida International. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
