Vance Serrano is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Faith Lutheran HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.08 seconds. Primary pitcher, exclusively from the stretch, shows good arm action with balanced delivery, throws from three quarters slot with fastball working 68-71 MPH. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth; also flashed changeup with good deception and some sink. Did a good job throwing strikes. Hits from upright, narrow-based stance with small leg lift trigger, rotational swing in torso, has solid strength in swing on line drive plane. Made solid line drive contact. Fields cleanly in the infield, shows solid footwork to both sides, gets off solid release with accuracy across the diamond, clocked up to 66 MPH. Very good student.
