Liam Canard is a 2020 C/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Sanderson. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.08 seconds. Hits from open, staggered stance, swings the bat hard with intent, front hip flares open a bit, handsy swing with bat speed, path gets slashy at times, shows ability to stay on the ball and drive it at times, will improve more with strength gains. Worked out behind the plate, explodes out of crouch well, athleticism to lower half, quick release with good accuracy, clocked up to 74 mph on throws. Excellent student.
