Jordan Wasia is a 2018 MIF/RHP with a 6-0 162 lb. frame from Cody, WY who attends Cody HS. Long and lean build, has good physical projection and plenty of room to get stronger. 7.07 runner, shows good range on defense with a good first step, young footwork at the ball which gets him off balance fielding and throwing. Right handed hitter, limited forward weight shift after a vertical leg lift load, has a short contact oriented swing, looks to hit the ball to the middle of the field and handles the barrel well, will improve offensively with additional strength and some forward momentum into contact. Also pitched, long and loose arm action, can get to his front side better, similar to his hitting approach in mechanics. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, gets good angle from a high 3/4's slot with occasional arm side running action. Flashed good 12/6 shape and tight spin on his curveball. Good student.
