Cade York is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Nacogdoches, TX who attends Central Heights. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Compact arm action with a high leg lift to start his delivery, tight high 3/4's arm slot, has a fluid and easy set of mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, has been up to 82 mph at PG events this year, plenty more velocity there as he matures physically, gets heavy late running action on his fastball at times. Short and tight curveball with some 12/6 action to it. Change up is a nice pitch with deception and nice fading action. Three-pitch starter type who throws strikes and is going to keep getting better. Had a dominant outing. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Showed good athleticism in the outfield defensively, fields out front and has sound footwork leading to accurate throws. Right handed hitter, has a simple line drive swing plane, middle of the field line drive contact. Good student.
