Eric Serna is a 2020 RHP/IF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Buena Park, CA who attends Katella HS. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Deep arm action in back, compact high 3/4's arm slot coming through, uses his lower half well to help generate drive and velocity. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, has some heaviness to it, will get cutting action at times, works his fastball to both sides of the plate with intent. Soft slider with some two-plane action to it. Tended to slow his arm on his change up but had nice fade and it was effective. Right handed hitter, spread stance, keeps his hands tight in his swing, inside swing path with a line drive to downward swing plane. 7.47 runner, also plays the infield.
