Matthew McCowan is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 6-2 181 lb. frame from Denver, NC who attends East Lincoln. Has a tall and athletic frame with long arms. Primary outfielder plays through the ball with quick, light feet and good angles as he is developing release point and arm strength. Ran a 6.78 sixty yard dash. Right-handed hitter stands in the box with a wide and open stance and starts on his front foot then shifts back into a load with a low kick to contact. McCowan has quick hands, works the back with line drives to pull side, and maintains good barrel control as he is developing strength. Excellent Student.
