Quinn Priester is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Cary, IL who attends Cary-Grove Community HS. Tall athletic build with outstanding physical projection remaining. Low hand delivery, 3/4's arm slot, low effort release with some cross body angle. Four-seam fastball was up to 93 mph, uses his four seamer mostly to right handed hitters, best pitch was a two seamer in the 88-90 mph range with 1700 rpm spin rates and outstanding run and sink, overmatched left handed hitters with the sinker. Very tight spin on a power curveball with late bite, got in a groove with the curveball and showed advanced feel for it. Shows present plus stuff with huge projection to keep improving. Very good student, verbal commitment to Texas Christian. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
