Griffin Agee is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-5 206 lb. frame from Goode, VA who attends Jefferson Forest HS. Very long build, looks taller than listed, especially long arms. Very deep arm action from a big hand drop load, shows ball to the hitter for a long time, very loose and easy arm action, extended 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm action, very consistent mechanics. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, very consistent location and velocity, gets outstanding life on his fastball and understands how to use it. Shows good spin on his curveball, will get under it at times but an effective second pitch he can use more. Very projectable and has present skills. Verbal commitment to Virginia.
