Blake Wehunt is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-6 218 lb. frame from Carnesville, GA who attends Franklin County HS. Extra big and strong build. Big flexible leg raise delivery, rears back over his back side, high 3/4's arm slot, lands open with his lead leg, some energy at release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight but frequently down in the zone with good angle, will occasionally get some glove side cutting action. Tends to slow arm on both his secondary pitches, can see him as a slider guy in the future. Good student, verbal commitment to Southern Mississippi.
