Riley Hawthorne is a 2020 MIF/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Houston. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.32 runner, has run 7.07 previously at a PG showcase, is light and quick on his feet on defense, moves through the ball very well with balance and actions, compact arm action with a quick release on his throws, plays defense with confidence. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance, loose swing with good extension when he gets to his front side, handles the barrel well and squares the ball up consistently, projects well as a hitter with additional strength.
