Robert Sayle is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Livingston, NJ who attends Livingston. Medium frame with an athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary third baseman with smooth footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Reads hops well and displayed clean glove actions while funneling the baseball. Worked through exchange well and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly closed stance. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Inside hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Utilized a high contact approach and displayed good extension through finish. Primarily worked to the middle of the field but showed the barrel control to work to all fields with ease. Also pitched utilizing a compact delivery. Showed a quick arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Attacked hitters with a fastball offering that created run to arm side in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 79 miles per hour. Curveball had tight 11/5 shape with sharp depth in the low 70's. Aggressively attacked the strike zone with both offerings and induced weak contact.
