Hunter Whitten is a 2022 3B/RHP/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from High Point, NC who attends Southwest Guilford. Medium frame with some length to project on. Ran a 7.57 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with looseness to actions, solid fundamentals, charges it well and shows some arm strength on throws across. Also pitched, commands the zone extremely well with a good tempo to how he works, quick arm and extends well to create life through the zone while mixing in a high-spin breaking ball with late turn and good depth into the zone. Righthanded hitter, big leg lift trigger, shows looseness to the swing with some bat speed that allows him to get the barrel head out on a slightly lifted plane generating contact to the middle of the field. Very good student.
