Hudson Franks is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Pike Rd, AL who attends Pike Road. Large, physical build with long limbs and present strength in the frame. Recorded a 7.45 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with a even base and a hand load and small step into contact. Quick, linear barrel path through the zone with pull side strength at impact. Primary right-handed pitcher with a side step into a belt high leg lift. Full arm swing works to a high slot release and repeats mechanics well. Athletic player with big projection on the mound. Fastball up to 84 mph with life in the zone, spin rates up to 2381 RPM. Also showed ability to spin sharp, tight low-70s breaking ball with consistent shape, spin rates up to 2591 RPM. Secondary corner infielder, has deliberate actions with soft hands, fielding the ball out front. Showed ability to change arm angles with carry and accuracy, up to 85 mph. Young player with big projection. Named to 2022 Southeast Prospect Top Prospect list.
