Ryan Bruno is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends American Heritage. Athletic build with coat hanger shoulders, outstanding physical projection. Gets coiled well over the rubber with plenty of lower half turn, keeps his lower and upper halves synced up well, medium length arm stroke, fast arm, 3/4's arm slot with good direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 94 mph early, settled into the low 90's, mostly straight with occasional arm side life, more velocity in there with physical maturity. Works primarily with his fastball but will work in a slider and change up at good times. Slider is best at the higher velocities, shows some bite and depth. Tends to drop his slot a bit on the change up, turns it over with some fade and good hand speed at release. Elite level student, verbal commitment to Stanford. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
