Josuel Santos is a 2019 SS/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Abraham Lincoln. Medium frame with an athletic build, has present strength with room to fill, 7.04 runner in the 60. Hits from a wide and slightly open stance with a high hand set. Shows strength with a power approach at the plate and the bat speed to match. Has slight lift in a swing that looks to do damage to the pull side of the field. Creates leverage at contact and drove the ball well through the middle of the field flashing present solid raw power. A primary SS with soft hands and solid glove skills, shows the ability to read hops well and throws from multiple arm slots with ease. Shows arm strength with solid carry across the diamond.
