Jonathan Buyna is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Wake Forest. Shorter build with some strength for his size and age. Smooth repeatable delivery on the mound with a high 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well, good easy pace to the plate, will occasionally fall off to the third base side at release. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, gets nice running life on the pitch and works it to different parts of the strike zone. Gets some spin and break on a lo2 60's curveball. Showed good one spot athleticism at first base defensively with a smooth exchange and release. Left handed hitter, has a big leg tuck to start with swing with a big stride into contact, timing intensive swing that can get off balanced out front at times.
