Davidjohn Herz is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Terry Sanford HS. Medium build with lots of room to get stronger. Mid 3/4's arm slot creates angle to the plate, has a quick arm with a crossfire delivery, complex delivery that can be very deceptive. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with lots of arm side life in addition to the angle. Sweeping slider that tunnels well with his fastball, can move the ball around the zone and work up in down in addition to side to side. Very good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
