Tyce Armstrong is a 2021 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Magnolia. Long athletic build with lots of physical projection. 7.66 runner, has athletic actions at both infield corner positions, has a good funnel out front fielding the ball, feet work fine, can get long in his actions with his long limbs but holds it together well, good carry across the infield on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall, open stance, long and extended swing that generates some lift and raw bat speed, can drive the ball when he gets it into the air and projects to get stronger. Also pitched, short takeaway in back with an extended finish out front, short stride out front, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with occasional sinking action. Tends to slow his arm on his secondary pitches. Good student.
