Hunter Gressel is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Gotha, FL who attends Lake Highland Prep. Bigger build with long arms and legs. Over the top arm action with big downhill angle to the plate, hides the ball well and hitters don't see it. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 78 mph, velocity played up especially up in the zone. Curveball was a solid second pitch, got big downer shape that changed eye levels from his fastball, had good feel for the strike zone with it. Showed a firm change up with developing feel. Has consistently topped out at 80-83 mph on his fastball all summer at PG events and showed advanced pitchability this outing. Good student.
