Nyle Banks is a 2021 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Olathe North. Recorded a 7.10 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame and slender build. Primary shortstop, circles it well with quick and twitchy actions. High intent throws with full separation and great carry across at 91 mph, developing accuracy. Shows a clean funnel out front with feel for the glove, functional tools present. Secondary right-handed pitcher, long and offline arm stoke with some wrap. Max effort thrower with elite arm speed, developing command. Ball really jumps out of the hand, makes for interesting projection. Showed a slider in the mid 70's with slurve as well as a change up. Switch-hitter with a high hand and back elbow set and small leg lift trigger. Small bat tilt load, simple operation overall, attacks the ball with quick hands. Drifts forward at times, made solid contact all round. More natural from the left side, unloads on inside pitches and creates lift easily. Definite two-way potential with present tools and plus arm speed. Excellent student. Parkland College commit. Named to the 2021 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
