Brett Thomas is a 2019 RHP with a 6-5 225 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Riverwood HS. Extra big and strong broad shouldered build. Stays tall on his back side, full arm action in back to an over the top arm slot, some energy at release, short stride out front, deliberate overall tempo to his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, gets excellent sinking life down in the zone, tends to flatten out up in the zone. Tends to slow his arm on a hard 12/6 curveball and tip the pitch, does locate the curveball well and has some feel for it. good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
