Will Maxey is a 2020 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton. Large frame with lean, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based, spread stance, line drive swing plane with solid bat speed, gets barrel going, shows clean hands through the zone, good barrel skills with firm contact, could unlock more power with more complete shift into contact. Worked out in the infield, footwork is solid, surrounds ball well and shows smoothness to actions, glove works well out front, clean release with throws clocked up to 80 mph. Good student.
