Tucker Mitchell is a 2019 C with a 6-1 201 lb. frame from Bradenton Beach, FL who attends IMG Academy. Big and strong athletic build. Very good defensive ability behind the plate, receives the ball well with soft and sure hands, has flexibility and athleticism in his lower half, sound fundamentals shifting and throwing, plenty of arm strength from a high 3/4's arm slot, 1.91 best pop in drills with game actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a wrapped barrel start, inside swing path with some barrel loop through the zone, mid field to opposite field approach, has the strength to open up his swing, will improve with adjustments.
