Don Williams is a 2020 C/1B, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends Houston Academy. Large and projectable frame. Ran a 7.24 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, footwork is fluid moving out of his crouch, young actions transferring the ball to his hand with developing quickness, short arm action at take back up to a side arm release into throws, 2.21 second best pop time. Lefthanded hitter, spread open stance to start, begins swing with a leg lift trigger that is used for timing purposes, long swing path to contact, swings with intent to drive using his whole body, could look to keep front shoulder in on the baseball for more gap to gap pop, mostly ground ball contact during his round of batting practice. Outstanding student.
