Ried Dittner is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-4 260 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex Friendship HS. Extra large build, country strong. Tall and fall delivery with a long arching takeaway in back, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Worked in the upper 80's from the wind up and the mid-80's from the stretch, gets good sink and angle to his fastball, really does a good job throwing his fastball for strikes. Noticeably shortens his arm stroke on his curveball, gets good 12/6 downer depth to it when he's on top of it. Has a feel for changing speeds and working the strike zone. Good student, verbal commitment to Tulane.
